Maybe we could move Lu's Red Queen from 25. a white cover to 3. a tiara or veil on the cover (I don't know if Victoria will be finishing Princess Diaries -- she started a buddy read, but hasn't commented lately). I think I read on the main discussion page that a crown could count as a tiara...

Then The Giver could go under 25. a white cover...

Oh, here's a better idea: 15. a car or transport on the cover
Le Passeur by Lois Lowry Az emlékek őre by Lois Lowry
(the first one has a car and the second one has a sled)

Victoria | 859 comments Hey hey! Sorry - I've been having a bit of an unforeseen personal crisis. I am also, still sick and completely forgot I start physical therapy on a torn ligament this week :\

The world is out to get me because- I waited like FOREVER because of the snow storms in the Northeast to get Princess Diaries in the mail and I forgot it on the subway one day. I give up lol

To be honest, I may throw in the towel. February was just simply not my month. I may be giving Twenties Girl a go if I can find my copy if not I may read one of these:

Am I Normal Yet? (Normal, #1) by Holly Bourne Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson Girl Online (Girl Online, #1) by Zoe Sugg Beginnings Obsidian & Onyx (Lux, #1-2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer

I'm leaning towards Cinder to be honest but we'll see. Sorry guys!

Victoria wrote: "To be honest, I may throw in the towel. February was just simply not my month. I may be giving Twenties Girl a go if I can find my copy if not I may read one of these: "

If you read Cinder, we could use it for:
3. a tiara or veil on the cover
Cinder (Cronache lunari, #1) by Marissa Meyer Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer

9. make-up or jewelry on the cover (or title)
earrings and necklace: Cinder (Cronache lunari, #1) by Marissa Meyer
bracelets: Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer

Girl Online would give us:
14. camera or photograph on the cover
Girl Online (Girl Online, #1) by Zoe Sugg

Obsidian would give us:
32. O.

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments Proposal (The Mediator, #6.5) by Meg Cabot
could be moved to:
9. make-up or jewelry on the cover (or title)
12. ring(s) on the cover

She's wearing a necklace and carrying a ring.

message 155: by T.J. (new)

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments Slide (Slide, #1) by Jill Hathaway

Michaela (readingrowena) | 723 comments So I will request Abbie to move Slide to #9, I am reading Impostor after I finish The Giver (which I will use for #15 transport) so no need for moving Demon Princess from 7 to 9. Also Proposal moving from #10 to #12 and Lovetoread's Low for #25 white cover while Red Queen going to #3 tiara or veil.

Lu, can you try finishing Invisible I? If it is possible of course? :)
Lovetoread, are you planning on finishing To All The Boys I've Loved Before and Harder?
Manon, are you reading Eleanor and Park?

So after the moving around we have 8, 14, 17, 19, 26, 27, 33 and probably 32 and 36 spots not filled in (#15 I will fill up probably l8r today with The Giver).

Also I will ask the mods if I can use All The Bright Places for one of the spots and if I can I will try as hard as I can to finish it!

Victoria, I hope you get well soon! ☺ By the way if you are wondeting what to get you out of a reading and sickness slump Obsidian is the right book in my opinion! UGH all the feels this book's given me! Definetely will keep things going, besides it will help with one of the spots!
Nevermind the game, I really do hope you get on your feet soon!

Lovetoread | 730 comments Hi the two reviews I need to add are for The Dolls(shoe on the cover) and my life next door for wedding venue. And I think we're still reading Twenties Girl but on the 27th. I also have two more buddyreads (Winter,The ring and the crown). Hope I can finish them on time.

Can you use My life Next Door for #17 man on the cover and Twenties Girl or #14 photograph on the cover (this edition has it: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/8...)!

message 160: by Luci (new)

Luci Limón (lucilimon) | -3 comments Mickey wrote: "Lu, can you try finishing Invisible I? If it is possible of course? :)"

I think so, hopefully I'll be done with Daughter of smoke and bone today and I'll still have time for Invisible I :)

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments Lu wrote: "I think so, hopefully I'll be done with Daughter of smoke and bone today and I'll still have time for Invisible I :)"

Then no Wither, Lu? Then I think move Proposal from 10 to 12.

The Night Circus could go for
3. a tiara or veil on the cover
El circo de la noche by Erin Morgenstern
or
17. book with a man on the cover (best man)
Het Nachtcircus by Erin Morgenstern

My life next door could also go for:
25. a white cover, or a romance novel
Quello che c'è tra noi by Huntley Fitzpatrick

Come to think of it -- a lot of these could go as romance novels...

@Mickey: Let's wait and see what Victoria chooses -- we still may have some shifting around to do. Take a look at the chart on page one -- I tried to do some shifting according to this latest discussion.

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments @Mickey: I have a dilemma. It looks like I'll be reading Vengeance Road -- I put this buddy read off once last month and my buddy doesn't want to wait again. Problem is it can only go in one of these slots: 5, 13, 30, 35.

All are taken by either you or me.

I can move Visions from 35, but only to 5, 6, or 18.
I can move Gifted Thief from 30, but only to 5, 6, 7, or 18.
I can move Demon Princess from 5, but only to 2, 6, 7, or 18.

I can only see categories 18 for Impostor, and 13 for Marshmallow Sky.

So my question: Do you have to read Impostor? Could you read something to fill 19, 26, 27, 32 or 33?

message 168: by Michaela (new)

Michaela (readingrowena) | 723 comments Í don't haveanything for 19, I asked for 26 but the book I wanted to read wasn't okay and I don't have any Os or Rs... I don't mind switching Impostor I just don't have anything else..

That's alright. I'll go ahead and put Gifted Thief in spot 30. Who knows if I'll finish all the books I've started anyway... ;)

I've started a book for 19 called Silence and one for O, but I'd better finish my buddy reads first. I will finish the ones I've labeled on the master plan, though. I've just started some others on the sly...

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments The Wedding Gift (Four Weddings and a Fiasco, #1) by Lucy Kevin I'll read (hopefully) The Wedding Gift (Four Weddings and a Fiasco, #1) -- works for
27. A book tagged as 'wedding' on Goodreads
or if need be
Düğün Hediyesi by Lucy Kevin
22. gifts, or invites, on the cover or in the title

I already started Invisible I so I was planning on finishing it and then, if I still have time, get to Wither, but if you tell me which one is more important then I guess I can give priority to one or another...

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments Lu wrote: "I already started Invisible I so I was planning on finishing it and then, if I still have time, get to Wither, but if you ..."

Lu, go ahead and finish Invisible. That would be great! That will go for 22. gifts, or invites, on the cover or in the title

If you read Wither, then I'll move Proposal again. No problem. Were you still thinking of reading A Beautiful Wedding? If so, I won't read The Wedding Gift (Four Weddings and a Fiasco, #1), but will look for something for 19 or 26.

I'm still involved in 3 buddy reads for 20 (Mr. Penumbra), 37 (Risuko), and wherever I can stick Vengeance Road... and it looks like I'll be doing a buddy read for Flawed still this month:
Flawed (Flawed, #1) by Cecelia Ahern
It could go for 25. a white cover, or a romance novel
and then we could move Red Queen to
3. a tiara or veil on the cover
if need be -- though I'm not sure I'll be able to finish it this month...

Victoria | 859 comments Oh my gooooood, guys! Sorry I've read so little this month. Finally tomorrow the craziness will be over. I think I'm squeezing in: Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone
-- I'm about 10 pages in.

It could count for an E and I had a buddy read set up I believe - which would make that only two buddy reads I've missed.

Thanks for the healing vibes TJ - they must've worked because I finally left my house today!

Thanks Mickey! Is it? I've heard it's a great series - I'm hoping to marathon it next month (that or the Lunar Chronicles. I really need to start reading those books! I buy more than I read woops.) I just have one question - does it have a love triangle? Because I really can't stand those!

Happy reading everyone!

Not really, but the main character is BF GOALS I am telling you! The first thing on your to do list now is to read the series haha!

message 178: by Michaela (new)

Michaela (readingrowena) | 723 comments TJ, can you mark that I am reading Impostor now and that Lu is doing A beautiful wedding? We have only two days, we should see what we have left and try to fill the spots!
Also, I found a book for #26 something music related on cover!
It is small so I shall finish it fast. But it wasn't added to goodreads so I kind of had to add it myself! --> Нещата, на които не ни учат в училище НЕ продължението by Емил Конрад

I am posting my review for #26 in a few minutes and I think I found one to read tomorrow which starts with an R :)
TJ, how are we with the spots?

message 183: by T.J. (last edited Feb 28, 2016 11:54PM) (new)

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments Mickey wrote: "TJ, how are we with the spots?"

I added yesterday:

Description #3 a tiara or veil on the cover
Description #36 E.

and for Michael:
Description #4 Book told from a male point of view
Description #34 E.

I didn't notice that Victoria was planning to read an "E" book. Oops. Maybe we can find another spot for one of these three Es.

Minutes ago I finished:
20. 'Mr' or 'Mrs' in the title
but I still have to write a review.

I plan to finish 37. R. tomorrow and maybe
19. "or forever hold your peace" - Titles with Quiet, Silent, Whisper in the title

We still need:
14. camera or photograph on the cover
Girl Online?
Twenties Girl?
To All the Boys I've Loved Before?

22. gifts, or invites, on the cover or in the title
A. Lu – Invisible I -- READING NOW (MIGHT FINISH)

29. Shoes on the cover (or title)
B. Lovetoread – The Dolls

32. O.
A.

33. R.
A. Mickey?

message 184: by Michaela (new)

Michaela (readingrowena) | 723 comments I am trying to finish The Raft for #33 R. I think I' manage.
Also, I saw kn the reviews thread that someone posted for Shoes On The Cover but I am not sure who it was since I am from my phone rn (I think it was Lovetoread, bot sure).

message 185: by Michaela (new)

Michaela (readingrowena) | 723 comments Yep, Lovetoread posted for shoes on the cover I checked. So we need a photograph and an O? UGH CMONNN only two and we can't finish them... I'll do whatever I can to find something about these two when I get home, but I have a training today and I have so much to study for tomorrow I don't know if I am going to be able to even finish the R..

message 186: by Michaela (new)

Michaela (readingrowena) | 723 comments I found something!!
I will read P.S. I Still Love You for something eith 'love' and you can move To All The Boys I've Loved Before to a cover with a photograph.

message 187: by T.J. (last edited Feb 29, 2016 08:26AM) (new)

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments @Mickey: Ha! Great minds think alike!
I am just reading The Wedding Gift which I thought could replace "23. book with wedding-themed title/ or 'love' in the title" (moving The Boys I've Loved Before to 14. cover with a photograph).

I originally started The Wedding Gift thinking I could put it at
27. A book tagged as 'wedding' on Goodreads (which is done)
or 22. gifts, or invites, on the cover or in the title (which Lu is hopefully reading).
I'm 74% through, so maybe I'll keep it as a backup in case Lu doesn't finish 22.

You go ahead and read P.S. I Still Love You, and I'll concentrate on finishing Silence (19) and Risuko (37).

That leaves us with O -- I have started an "O", but probably no time.

message 188: by T.J. (new)

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments Okay, I finished The Wedding Gift and wrote a review. It can go for: 12, 13, 15, 22, 23, 25, 27.

message 189: by Michaela (new)

Michaela (readingrowena) | 723 comments I think you should do the maths without P.S.I still love you bc it's 8pm here and I just got back home...
The Raft will be finished and if you include it and remove P.S..... what do we have left? An O?

message 190: by T.J. (last edited Feb 29, 2016 11:46AM) (new)

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments I can use The Wedding Gift for 22 or 23, but not both. I haven't heard from Lu in a while. Lu, will you be finishing Invisible?

22. gifts, or invites, on the cover or in the title
A. Lu – Invisible I -- READING NOW (MIGHT FINISH)

23. read a book with wedding-themed title/ or 'love' in the title
A. Mickey – P.S. I Still Love You (25) -- READING NOW

Then there's:
32. O
33. R -- Mickey -- The Raft

I'm struggling to get 19 & 37 finished... (and it's almost 9pm here too).

We also have one extra book finished, if we can figure out how to move things around:
* Lovetoread, Feb 8th - Low

(and maybe Victoria -- Every Last Word)

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments CONGRATULATIONS TEAM DAHLIA!!!

Here's a bit of trivia four you:

Although we came in 4th place with 6 readers, the 3 teams which came in ahead of us all had 7-8 readers (I checked... ya, i know, i'm curious like that... "curious" is a better word than "competitive," i think...).

What's more, we met our own team goal: With only 6 readers we completed every category at least once! I commend you!
