That is an interesting idea; and many writers include the inner thoughts of the perpetrator without revealing identity to the reader.
First person from the side of the criminal? Great idea, but can't think of any. But a good series for first person books is Matt Scudder by Lawrence Block.

I really enjoy reading a thriller from the side of the criminal - even better if it is first person - and I have trouble finding such novels. An y suggestion would be appreciated.
