Gareth | 166 comments I saw this challenge on another site and I thought it was a pretty good idea. It's called the Mount TBR Challenge, but I'm going to include other books I buy, not just the ones I own.

Last year it was my aim to reach the peak of Mont Blanc, I succeeded in doing so, and almost got to the top of Mt. Vancouver. So that will be my aim this year.

Pike’s Peak: Read 12 books
Mount Blanc: Read 24 books
Mt. Vancouver: Read 36 books
Mt. Ararat: Read 48 books
Mt. Kilimanjaro: Read 60 books
El Toro: Read 75 books
Mt. Everest: Read 100 books
Mount Olympus (Mars): Read 150+ books

Progress:

1. Die Trying

Gareth | 166 comments I'll also be creating a map to see where my reading takes me. I'll be marking everywhere that my characters in the book go, so for example in Lee Child's Die Trying, Jack Reacher starts in Chicago, so I mark Chicago on the map and when he moves on I'll mark somewhere else.

Not sure how well this will do, because I read a lot of fantasy, but I suppose I could map character movement on them maps too.

A link to the challenge is here http://itsallaboutbooks.de/2014/11/ar...
