Russell Massey | 4 comments I'm looking for a book about race or racial reconciliation that will fit in the topic "Book about a current issue." This is an important issue in our day and I feel like I don't really know much about it. I've done some research and one that keeps coming up is Between the World and Me by Ta Nehisi Coates. I may read that, but I'm wondering if anyone has another suggestion.
Thanks in advance

Adam Ruf | 1 comments Funny that you should ask for this because Tim Challies is currently reading this book according to my GoodReads newsfeed:

Under Our Skin: Getting Real about Race–And Getting Free from the Fears and Frustrations That Divide Us

...So I'm probably going to read it. It's almost exactly the subject material you're asking for.

Matthew (matthewga) I'd recommend Black Rednecks & White Liberals by Thomas Sowell.

Robert Thompson (jrthompson95) | 7 comments Letters to a Birmingham Jail is fantastic. It is edited by Bryan Lorrits and includes contributions from Bryand Lorrits, Crawford Lorrits, John Piper, Matt Chandler, John Perkins, and more. It is a great read showing how Dr. King's Letter From a Birmingham Jail is still relevant today.
