What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Hi there:

Another book I am trying to recall is a paperback/hard copy that I have read in the past 3-4 years.

A book about a husband, wife and a teenageish daughter. I people broke into their home and the wife and daughter were kidnapped. I think at one point the intruders made the mother hold a gun to the father and possible even shoot him. When they were kidnapped they did not know if he was dead or alive. Through the story the father renters and you realized that he was connected to the kidnapping. The mother and daughter end up getting released and it is realized that although they thought he was dead, the husband is alive and planning to escape with a new girlfriend. I believe his was ultimately killed in the end in a shoot out with police and/or the wife leaving just the wife and the daughter remaining. It had lots of twists and turns!

Mystery Solved! I was morphing two books into one- both by Lisa Gardner.

Love You More is the story in which the female detective's house is broken into and she is forced to shoot her husband.

Touch and Go is the story in which the family was kidnapped and the husband is in on it and betrays his family.

How do I move this to "Solved"?
