message 66: by Willemijn (last edited Feb 19, 2016 05:06PM) (new)

Willemijn (willemijn_z) | 202 comments I keep telling myself not to join more challenges, but this one is too good not to join.

I will attempt to read 3 books, which is going to be tricky, as there are only two weeks left, but that makes it a challenge. :)

I hope to re-read:
1. Zwellend fruit by Peter Verhelst - This is one of my favourites. I've read it a couple of times, but maybe this time I will finally write a review.
2. My Family And Other Animals by Gerald Durrell - This is one of the first books I ever read in English. I've been meaning to re-read it, so I can read the sequel.
3. Kristal der dromen (The Blessing Stone) by Barbara Wood - I've read this one such a long time ago that I can't really remember much of it, except that I really enjoyed reading it. This one will also count for the Popsugar challenge (a book you haven't read since high school).

Fr. Andrew (nitesead) I'm finally starting my book for this challenge, The Color of Magic. I hope to then continue on and read the whole series, as long as it maintains a hold on me. I think it's almost fifty books long if you include the side books.

message 76: by Paul Emily (new)

Paul Emily Ryan (kickbackyak) Thanks Candiss! I won't lie though, part of me will be relieved to finish with this challenge so I can finally get back to some other challenges I have going on that I've had to put away for a while. That's always the way though, isn't it? Or at least sometimes it is. ;)

message 99: by Maria (new)

Maria (mariah90602) | 2284 comments Ya, I doubt I'll make my goal. But at least we read a little and I enjoyed it! We still have time. You never know.

message 100: by Candiss (new)

Candiss (tantara) | 996 comments I will probably make my goal for this challenge, as I kept it to 2 books, both of which are short; but I will almost surely not make all my other monthly and quarterly challenges.

Oh, well. I definitely think it's the experience that's important, not the number of books or a page count. :)
