Luke winced inwardly. "They're a lesser evolved form of us. Many will call them animals but they aren't like General here, or the animals I take care of." he said wording his explanation carefully. He was toeing the line of being a sympathizer. General purred jumping on his shoulders and eyeing Lilly's. "Oh no dare devil you aren't going to scare her on her first day. " he stated petting him as he turned.

"Oh" she said. She looked at him confused. "Is there a reason I don't remember anything?" She asked. She wanted to know things. She smiled at the cat. "It's fine." She smiled at him. "I feel like I should stop feeling confused and stopped leading the life they want me too."

Luke smiled as General arched his back into her hand. "I don't read a lot of things published by us either. It's mechanical perfection in my opinion." he turned as he poured in some spices and stirred before dumping them into a collander. He looked out the window thoughtfully. It'd be so easy to disappear without a trace. Tell Keiji and Aki and that's it. What was stopping him then? He hissed as his fingers slid onto the hot pot.

"Oh." She whispered. She looked at him sadly. "I don't remember and wish I would."
