Rose Wh (rosewh) | 3 comments The 'Talking Circles' chapter about the National Women's Conference was inspiring. It's hard to comprehend the amount of work that went into that, and the amount of people that were united by it. I got emotional just reading about it, would have been bawling if I was there!

I'm wondering, does anybody have a Before and After moment? Something that inspired you to be a feminist activist/supporter? I'm only 20 and I can't really think of one single moment but I would like to hear about yours :)

MeerderWörter | 2388 comments Maybe we both had the same. I'm 19. I figured out that I was an inadvertent feminist. Both my parents are.

And then came Sep 21, 2014. Emma's speech moved me, I had tears in my eyes and I knew, in this very moment, that I was a feminist. So, definitely Emma#s speech at the UN. I still can't believe she was allowed to. The UN, the United Nations. As usual, nothing was mentioned in the Austrian press, I really dislike it for that.
