The Mystery, Crime, and Thriller Group discussion

Just picking my way in to the Goodreads community. Responding to this groups landing page - what focuses me are white-knuckle rides around the world, good characters, good plots, but learning something about the places they visit.

In fact this year I wrote a chapter of my forthcoming 'Route of Evil' and based it in Myanmar (Burma in real money!). As a result have a trip planned to go there later this year - hot-air balooning over the temples of Bagan - reality mirroring fiction!

I guess I should go and read those rules now - hope i've not tread on any of them here?
