Bea I think that I should know this but...

I looked in the manual but did not find my answer. I stumbled over a travel guide type book that has had many volumes, editions (revised and new), and other variations. It is a mess. I would like to try to make sense.

If the travel guide covers the same area, I think I can put all the various editions together. Correct?

Although it is a mess, I do not want to make more of a mess. :)

The OP is about a cookery book, but the rest is about travel guides.

Good luck... ;)

Bea Thanks for the reference, lethe. I did look at that thread. Here's the book combine that I am trying to work on. Seems that all the Vancouver, Howe Sound, & Sunshine Coast books could be one...the Desolation Sound & Discovery Islands one, etc.

Keeping the volumes separate, but not the various editions. Correct?

Elizabeth (Alaska) I think "Dreamspeaker Cruising Guides" should also be a series and removed from the titles. It appears they apply to all editions of the works.

Yes, I agree. Fortunately they all seem to have the same editor!
