Lisa (lisa928) | 96 comments As a librarian I am unsure if a new edition ("FULLY REVISED AND EXPANDED") should be combined with previous editions. Author notes first was a novella (at 220 pages?) and now expanded, but based upon cover and page count that does not sound right.

Should they be merged?

lethe | 16359 comments I agree, a 220-page book is not a novella.

GR policy is generally to combine, depending on page count. I don't know how many pages the new book is going to have, if it's really going to be a lot more maybe they should stay separate.

Z-squared | 8576 comments My guess is they're going to be combined. Novella to novel usually isn't enough of a change. More like short story to novel. But as far as I know, there's no hard and fast rule for this.
