I'm glad I'm re-reading this one. It's been a while since I read it and there's so much I forgot. It makes me want to go back to the beginning, but I don't want to take the time :) I really love this series, though.

Did either of you watch the Dresden Files show? It's on Netflix (or at least it used to be). They only made one season.

I never did watch it. I love this series and I am glad we are reading it.

Susan is back but is that a good thing? She did warn Dresden.

Dresden is always getting himself in over his head but is able to pull it out at the end. He has his hands full with this one. Missing Shroud, Seriously creepy demons, and everyone trying to kill him. What is new? It will be interesting to see how he does it. As always love the witty banter!

I honestly really don't like Harry. He's a jerk. I enjoy the supporting characters a lot more. Thomas is my favorite. In this book, I am a fan of all the Knights.

I watched it. It's VERY different from the books. But the guy they got to play Dresden is awesome. =D

Haha, Alyssia never likes the obvious ones :) I do like Harry but I do like Thomas, too.

I like Harry, Thomas and the Knights are cool.

Loved the conversation between Molly and Dresden. Awkward much.

I love that even though Dresden is being tortured, shot at or in some other type of peril he is still able to give some witty comments.

That's one of the things I love about him.

I finished. I am enjoying this series even more as each story unfolds.

So, I certainly didn't use the word "hate" - I just don't really like him. He's a jerk.
He's still the protagonist and has many heroic qualities. I do enjoy his witty banter and his loyalty to his friends. I just don't /like/ him.

Thomas is awesome. Bob is pretty fantastic. There are other characters I enjoy quite a bit more than Harry. He and Murphy are really low on my list.

I go back and forth with Murphy. She's definitely not my favorite.

Any guesses on who he's going to give Shiro's stick/sword to? My first thought was either (view spoiler)[Susan or Murphy (hide spoiler)].

What about the woman in the bed that Johnny Marcone got the Shroud for? Who is she? Who is after her?

I think she is his daughter. No one is after her yet, but that's why he was being so secretive about her...because he has so many enemies and he doesn't want them anywhere near her. Hopefully we'll find out more about that in the later books. I like Marcone.

Blood Rites is SOOO GOOOD.
I wish I were reading it with you guys. :(

It's my favorite of the series thus far. Lots of delicious White Court.

I like him too. It will be interesting to see where that goes. I like Susan and I think she makes a good match for Dresden.

I like the vamps in this book. Looking forward to the next one then :)
