Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

While editing I sometimes see book titles which have additional info stuffed into parenthesis after the title. Is this allowed or should I remove it or move the information to the book's description? For example a book titled "Roly Poly Fish Heads" might appear as "Roly Poly Fish Heads (Part one of the demented aquanauts series)" or maybe "Roly Poly Fish Heads (Based on the song, not the TV show)".

Series information should be edited to match Goodreads standard. Other random information should be removed -- or moved to the description field, if appropriate.
