Samantha Clare Who here wants to rant about the Selection? It's definitely one of those "love or loath" types of stories. I want to see who is for and against it (and why).

evelyn I like it. Really like it.

message 3: by Fox (new) - rated it 4 stars

Fox D'aoust For the most part, I enjoyed the series. Its like The Bachelor, The hunger games and a disney movie all rolled into one.

However the ending of the third book was dissapointing

Samantha Clare I really did, too! But it was a one book story, she shouldn't have expanded it.

Ilana i liked this series - i think that it's a great series - it's an interesting mix of 'the bachelor' and dystopian amazement all rolled into one

Lizzie I liked it. It was available as an ebook from my local library. I didn't like it enough to pay money to read it.

The characters were well done. The concept ok. The should I pick my hometown friend or the prince back and forth was annoying.

For me, it is a quick, easy read for bedtime reading, not literature.

Martyna I like it but i think that is another tipical love story when young girl find her handsome prince. ps.sorry for my english i am still learning
:)

Christine *Spoilers* (for fourth book) I like the first three books. The fourth was a flop unless theres a fifth book coming out explaining what happens I mean how can you leave America with a heart attack? And Eadlyn what is wrong with that girl she's friggin frigid lol her mom and dad are so warm. I mean if Henri grew on her why couldn't she try and learn some terms in Finnish or offer to tutor him in English. Plus the whole I ate my childhood friendish person to oh I might grow feelings for him would have seemed more natural if she actually fell for him but by the end of the book she's barely letting them in... Sigh I really hope theres a fifth book or novella that sums everything up lol

Christine And is her bond with her twin really that strong its keeping her from finding love?? I was sorta confuzzled on that part

Hannyluvsbooks I enjoyed the first three in the series and then when I got to the fourth on I got so mad because the new main character Eadlyn is a complete brat and jerk to her parents not to mention the other kids in the family who one goes off to marry the French princess or something without telling his family instead writing a measly note. Also the ending was just sooooooooooo wrong come on I know they like said her family had like heart problems and that her dad and her sister died but why I mean this America are selection herion why. Also having a selection for Eadlyn is useless cuase she not even close to falling in love with any of these sutiors.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isabella I totally love the Selection, the Elite and the One! They were all amazing!!! Though I admit there were a lot of clichés in the book. But anyway, when I found out that there was a fourth book, I was totally excited. But well, what can I say? I was disappointed. She shouldn't have extended it.

Ik America wasn't at all like that outspoken and stubborn but thats what we love about her, her daughter is just ridiculous and why doesn't Eadlyn and the other kids not know anything about Max's and Americas selection? And the character development on her brothers is sorely lacking.

Aida i didn't hate it.
i didn't love it.
fun and entertaining series even though America was annoying...=)

Samantha Clare I hate America's name but like the story. I gave the first three books four stars because it was really good, but some things were really annoying. #teamaspen or #teammaxon

A fifth book will be published this year, it's called The Crown

Stacie Kiera Cass left us with a cliffhanger and i'm dying to get the fifth book! and it's still one month away ):.

Samantha Clare Who else got the chance to ask Kiera Cass a question?

Stacie Me!

Jordan I like the concept of the series but its so sloww moving and then after ' The One' she ends the book so quickly i wish the Fourth Book didn't jump 20 years ahead to someone else's point of view. Its kind of more like a spin off. Like' Bloodlines' with 'Vampire Academy' for the Fourth and Fifth books tbh.

That's so sad because I really enjoyed the 3 selection books. But I haven't read the 4th one because I was afraid it would ruin the series.

Holly I enjoyed the series because after reading Divergent, the Hunger Games, etc. It was almost relaxing- being able to focus on a fun story with less of the violence. It also brought awesome main characters that I loved.

I wish the Kiera Cass would write a short story in between the One and The Heir. I was surprised by the fact that I actually loved the Heir, though, especially since America and Maxon are still important characters and America's sass stays. If anything, i think it added to the series, with old and new characters appearing.

OMG that would be beautiful!
