Charlotte (charlotte_riggle) | 93 comments When my children were small, I wanted an Easter book for them that wasn't just about the Easter bunny and candy and such. There were a few, of course, but not enough. And none at all that reflected the traditions of our family and our faith.

So ... I'm a writer by trade. (A technical writer, but that's still a writer.) Since I couldn't find the book I wanted, I finally wrote it.

That was over 20 years ago. Just last year, I found a publisher, and and illustrator, and Catherine's Pascha: A Celebration of Easter in the Orthodox Church has been out for since the beginning of Lent last year.

It's the beginning of Lent again this year (for those of you on the Western calendar -- in the Orthodox Church, the beginning of Lent is still weeks away). Anyway, if you're interested in a different sort of Easter book, I'd love it if you'd take a peek at Catherine's Pascha. You can find links to reviews on the website here: http://www.catherinespascha.com/book/...

And if you poke around on the website, you'll find lots of information about Pascha traditions, and craft projects, and all sorts of things.

Thanks!
