.

Please review any CLASSIC book you read as a separate topic filed under the CLASSIC REVIEWS folder. Be sure to include how many stars you'd give it (1 to 5 stars, 5 being best).

DIRECTIONS for posting:
At the top of the DISCUSSION BOARD on the right you’ll see: topics: all | new | unread
Click NEW
topic - type the title / author – rating
e.g.: Pride & Prejudice / Jane Austen – 5 stars

This topic is about: type the title of the book, and WAIT for a pop up menu … click on the appropriate book

folder - select CLASSIC REVIEWS 2016

comment put your review here.

Click POST

------------------------------------------------------------------

If you read a book that is NOT a classic, please post the review as a new comment in the OTHER reviews (not classics) folder

Please do NOT post your review as a reply to this post.

Terris I really hate to be a whiner -- but this feels too complicated to me. I have done it a couple of times but I usually just don't. I usually feel like I've struggled through a 500 page classic (& I'm so proud of myself!) then I have to read these instructions & try to figure out what to do and it just feels like too much trouble :/
Anyway, please take this in a funny, light way, but is there any way that we can just post our reviews like we do in the other groups? And if not, it's OK. You know me, BC, I'll get along ;)

Terri ... we chose this route for Reviews of Classics to foster discussion, since we don't have nested replies like we did on Shelfari. This process applies ONLY for classics, you've read.

We DO also have a thread for non-classics (and, what the heck, you are free to post your reviews of classics there as well), where members can simply list their reviews as new posts in the general thread.

Thanks, BC! I understand and that does make sense. And I'll look this process over again. I'm sure it's not that bad, but you know how sometimes you just don't want to think?! ;)
Thanks again!
