So, how do guys like to wrap up the final book of a book series? Do you like to have an ending for everything or leave some mystery?

I am about to end my first series with a pretty large plot thread unanswered. On purpose. Not sure how it will go... :)

As for everything else, I will have some sort conclusion. Then again, my next series will be in the same land/realm, just 8 years later, so some of it will be revealed then.

One thing I hate, personally, is when a series ends without any sort of peek into the characters' futures. It happens a lot in romance books. The couple finally comes together, then--BAM! End of story. I prefer to see them have a happy ending than to have to imagine one... But that's just me... :)

I'm having trouble right now with getting everything coming together.
