Elaine | 2001 comments I probably won't complete it but as I have a few books on my TBR that fit the criteria I'll give it a go.
My choices:

1. Harmony Day: The Tall Man : Death and Life on Palm Island Tall Man The Death of Doomadgee by Chloe Hooper

2. Old Stuff: Mr. Mercedes Mr. Mercedes (Bill Hodges Trilogy, #1) by Stephen King . It's been on my TBR since 2014.

5. Reader's choice: Aussie Author The Dry by Jane Harper.

Brenda because this last one is an ARC and won't be released till May there is no description of it on GR. Not sure if you can find more info. :)

If you look up the book again you'll fine another entry with ratings. There is more info there, and also under "other editions" you'll find there is a pic of the book cover also (ISBN: 1743548052).

The reason for that is that the link for the book is included in your reply...when you click "reply" you need to delete back to the end of Day: ... then type your post. It's a silly thing that happens with GR and has been happening for probably years. A nuisance!

Thanks again Brenda. I'll leave it for now as I tried twice to fix it and couldn't. I even got out of GR and went back in again and it did the same thing!!!! I'm just not computer savvy enough to troubleshoot. :(

Elaine I just finished it. I haven’t written a review but will do soon. I gave it 5 stars but at the time of reading I just wanted to scream at Hooper to stop playing games with my head. It was amazing, disturbing, and frustrating all at once.

I will be reading more of her books. :)

message 81: by Kathryn (new)

You're right, only 1 other fiction - A Child's Book of True Crime, which I've added that one to my TBR because it's available on audio at my library. But I will like to read her non-fiction one sometime soon.

That's understandable Kathryn. Reading several reviews on Goodreads, I can see that it's not everyone's cup of tea.
