All fixed :)
Wonderful thanks Angela:) Rabbit-Proof Fence: The True Story of One of the Greatest Escapes of All Time is a great book - fits perfectly there:)

Anyone have an recommendations as I am unfamiliar with Australian indigenous authors and/or books."
Melissa, you might like to have a look at Spirits of the Ghan by Judy Nunn which some of us have recently enjoyed very much.

Excellent! And with only 8 days left until March, you'll have plenty of time before they're due back!

I've noticed The Tall Man : Death and Life on Palm Island before and thought it sounds interesting. Will look out for your review if you get around to reading it, Elaine!

If you look up the book again you'll fine another entry with ratings. There is more info there, and also under "other editions" you'll find there is a pic of the book cover also (ISBN: 1743548052).
The Dry by Jane Harper

Hope that helps :)

Oh thanks Michelle. I couldn't find that one. The uncorrected proof that I have is just a red cover that says " Book of the Year 2016".

Thanks Michael..she edited it after I'd read her post, so no I didn't :) Thanks Michelle for your help..I'll look at it later to combine etc.

I’m listening to one of her books now and it is so good. - [book:The Engagement|15707871]
A psychological thriller that really messes with your head.

3). International Earth Day: Read a book which is set in any country but your own - Carol by Patricia Highsmith - set in New York
4). Panic Day: Read a book that makes you panic for whatever reason, whether it’s a thriller or crime novel, the size of the book or just a novel with a general unsettling topic! - The Returned by Jason Mott - a boy returning from the dead is unsettling
5). Reader’s Choice: Read any book of your choice - Aussie Author - The Rook by Daniel O'Malley or Sea Hearts by Margo Lanagan

1. Harmony Day : Who Am I?: The Diary Of Mary Talence, Sydney 1937 by Anita Heiss which also doubles for my aussie author yearly challenge too :)

3. International Earth Day : The House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende - set in Chile...
4. Panic Day : Through the Cracks by Honey Brown ... crime/thriller not generally something I read as I always panic I will dream about it at night... lol
5. Reader's Choice : Nightingale by Fiona McIntosh .. always hard to pick one as there so many... these should keep me occupied for the month...lol

1). Harmony Day: Tiddas by Anita Heiss

That one is meant to be good too Mish. Is it messing with your head in a good or bad way?

Stan read this one for uni Kathryn and has been telling me for ages I must read it too. He said it was amazing and I've had some customers rave about it too which for a book of non fiction is a pretty big call. Hopefully I'll get to it this time as it fits into this challenge perfectly. Maybe I will have more luck with this than I've had with [book:Mr Mercedes!!! Lol. :)
P.S. Not sure why my message has come up like this. I haven't been able to fix it.
The reason for that is that the link for the book is included in your reply...when you click "reply" you need to delete back to the end of Day: ... then type your post. It's a silly thing that happens with GR and has been happening for probably years. A nuisance!

Thanks again Brenda. I'll leave it for now as I tried twice to fix it and couldn't. I even got out of GR and went back in again and it did the same thing!!!! I'm just not computer savvy enough to troubleshoot. :(

Good luck with it, Elaine! And I'm still happy to discuss Mr. Mercedes when you get around to it (you might just have to jog my memory about details!).

My choices:
1. Harmony Day:
Elaine I just finished it. I haven’t written a review but will do soon. I gave it 5 stars but at the time of reading I just wanted to scream at Hooper to stop playing games with my head. It was amazing, disturbing, and frustrating all at once.
I will be reading more of her books. :)

You're right, only 1 other fiction - A Child's Book of True Crime, which I've added that one to my TBR because it's available on audio at my library. But I will like to read her non-fiction one sometime soon.
That's understandable Kathryn. Reading several reviews on Goodreads, I can see that it's not everyone's cup of tea.

2). Old Stuff Day:
Has been on my tbr list since 25 January 2015
3). International Earth Day:
This book is set in England's Lake District.
4). Panic Day:
This is unsettling to me due to the length of the book and also perhaps the plot and characters.
5). Reader’s Choice: Aussie Author

3) International: Reykjavík Nights: Murder in Reykjavík by Arnaldur Indriðason
4) Panic: Once Upon a Time in Melbourne by Liam Houlihan - Vampire gigolo? Panic-worthy I think!

I see what you mean Mish but I guess that's a sign of a good book when an author can do that to you. I'm looking forward to reading her non-fiction book a sit comes so highly recommended from a few different people. I haven't seen your review yet Mish. Have I missed it?
What's everyone going to start for this challenge IN JUST A FEW HOURS???
I'm not sure on mine as I have to finish a couple of others first:)
