Letter frequency = A ×9, B ×2, C ×2, D ×4, E ×12, F ×2, G ×3, H ×2, I ×9, J ×1, K ×1, L ×4, M ×2, N ×6, O ×8, P ×2, Q ×1, R ×6, S ×4, T ×6, U ×4, V ×2, W ×2, X ×1, Y ×2, Z ×1, blank ×2


Rules:
* Each letter has its own points score (as above).
* Each letter can only be used as many times as it appears on a scrabble board (as above)
* Blanks are freebies, and can be used for any letter, they will be awarded 1 point each.
* If a team manages to complete all 100 tiles, they may start the board for a second time.
* Books must be read between the 1st of March to the 31st of March inclusive.
* Books must be over 100 pages long, without illustrations. (150 pages minimum for middle-grade books, 300 pages minimum for poetry or books written in verse.)
* Please check with us about re-reads before reading.
* You can use other editions which have other titles, but only if the title is written using english letters, editions which are written in greek letters or arabic etc. won't count.

Points:
* Points will be awarded based on the letter used (as above)
* Buddy reads (which take place within our group) will gain the team 1 bonus point for books under 450 pages, and 2 bonus points for books 450 pages or longer.
* There will be no individual rankings in this game as not everyone will be able to use the higher value letters.

Hi guys, just to let you know I'm here, will be participating and all that, but I think I have to warn you I won't be able to post my reviews until March 5th or 6th, so don't think you're behind because of me, it's just because I'll be away from home so wouldn't have enough time to write reviews, but will do it when I come home.

Plus, I think it would be great if we posted here what books we plan to read and maybe even agree to read sth together, for more points.

Hopefully I've set this up right so you can all access the spreadsheet. Should help us plan reading a little. I'm happy to try and do what I can to fill in the spaces.

hi i just wanted to let you know you that i am going on a spring break trip with friends for a whole week from the 17th to 25 and i probably wont read more than a book but i swear that after that i will dedicate myself to compensate the lost time

I've only added 2 books which I'm sure I'll read. I'm still deciding for the rest, but I'll be sure to do buddy reads for added points.

Just a reminder to all - if you can use the spreadsheet to help us plan which areas need covering (think this'll be more important later as we start filling up letters) it would really help. Just colour-code if you can remember.

How is everyone getting on? Some great books being read. Shall we try to target higher scoring letters first?

I know I'm pretty behind but I am starting with my reviews today.
I can't say for others, but I have some kind of scedule because most books I'm reading are review cooies, but I'll try my best to read those with more poijts sooner.
Sadely, I realized that most books I have to read have only 1 point letter, except M and maybe some other... :/

Irena, don't worry about it. I'm a bit like you, trying to work out which books I have from NetGalley can be used. Also busy in work right now so feel I'm being a bit slow. We're doing alright so far...

It's actually quite good for fanfiction! You should totally read it if you're as obsessed with anything Potter related as me:)

Hi all, we've ended up with a duplicate. J has already been completed. Marta - for now, is it worth Jaden counting as a blank tile?

I don't think we have much choice but to count is as blank.
Just pls someone put on that table document that we already used blank space so nobody confuses later.
I am on my phone so can't do it right now.

I'm currently reading The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. I'm halfway and I know it's rated around 4 stars but I don't like it as much. I was really excited to read it :(

The same happened with me when I read it! There was so much hype around it, yet I didn't like it. I liked the second and third books better though.

Just finished Try Not to Breathe by Holly Seddon but won't be able to review until after work.

I liked that book but didn't want to read the sequel until the very end of the book.
I finished the whole series and liked it, although I know some ppl were dissapointed.

I haven't started it so you can post yours, I'll delete mine from the list so you can put yours, just so we can have it uder control when counting.
I can read the title with K later (if we manage to read all letters) or next month then...

I am starting a book with N now... It's only 1 point but I have to read it because I have to review it ASAP.

I like it. It sort of is an easy read. :)

Just finished Crush by Eve Ainsworth. Will review and update after work tonight.

I will finish My Map of You, if not today then tomorrow for sure.
I am still reading No place To Hide but plan to finish it this week.

And I made some changes on my tbr so I'll delete today ones I'm not sure if I'll manage to read this month, so if you guys want to use that letters you can, and that we can focus on letters with more points.

Just to let you guys know, I made those changes and now books I'm currently reading are marked yellow and the ones I plan to read this month red and ones we already read are green.

Some books I deleted so you can read books with those letters if you want to.
I'll do my best to read as many books as I can, but I did what I did just in case.

I'll defenitely finish those that sre on the list now.

Have just finished We Were Liars and will post my review later.

Karen, how did you like We Were Liars?
I frickin LOVE that book, but I know many ppl don't.
Those stories with a king and three daughters were my favorite part of the book...

I'll FINALLY finish My Map of You today and review it, plus I'll probably finish Timmy Failure too, if not today then tomorrow for sure.
