Points Per Letter:
(1 point)-A, E, I, O, U, L, N, S, T, R.
(2 points)-D, G.
(3 points)-B, C, M, P.
(4 points)-F, H, V, W, Y.
(5 points)-K.
(8 points)- J, X.
(10 points)-Q, Z.

Challenge rules:
* Each letter has its own points score (as above).
* Each letter can only be used as many times as it appears on a scrabble board (as above)
* Blanks are freebies, and can be used for any letter, they will be awarded 1 point each.
* If a team manages to complete all 100 tiles, they may start the board for a second time.
* Books must be read between the 1st of March to the 31st of March inclusive.
* Books must be over 100 pages long, without illustrations. (150 pages minimum for middle-grade books, 300 pages minimum for poetry or books written in verse.)
* Please check with us about re-reads before reading.
* Our regular challenge rules can be found here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
* You can use other editions which have other titles, but only if the title is written using english letters, editions which are written in greek letters or arabic etc. won't count.

Points:
* Points will be awarded based on the letter used (as above)
* Buddy reads (which take place within our group) will gain the team 1 bonus point for books under 450 pages, and 2 bonus points for books 450 pages or longer.
* There will be no individual rankings in this game as not everyone will be able to use the higher value letters.

I have an hour until midnight if I can stay awake I will try and read if not then I'll read tomorrow

Hey I'm Michela. I don't really plan the books that I am going to read as I usually do not stick to it. I am more of a person who reads whatever book I feel like reading. I hope that is alright.

I didn't quite get what to do after I finish a book.. I just posted my review, do I have to let the admin know that I'm done or will be everything collected at the end of the challenge?

if i can get most of my college work done today then this weekend all im going to do is read! i may even try and pull an all nighter tomorrow night and read constently

good luck with that! :) I'll have to study all weekend and write my dissertation, so not a lot of time to read for me ^^

So I just finished my second book (The Wonderful Wizard of Oz) :) I'm still not quite sure how the review thing works as it's hard to just write down what happened in the story as there was a lot happening in this one. So I just wrote some short review, I do hope it'll be enough, otherwise I'll have to write more

Sorry I have not been able to read anything yet. However, today is my last class before spring break so I should be able to gey some books in :)

I am so sorry I haven't been able to finish a book yet but I am going to read all day tomorrow. I have just been so stressed with college work and so tired I have just been falling to sleep when I come home from work

@Courtney we're also starting our spring break here in saudi arabia :)

@Tiffany take it easy.. College is more important! We're reading for fun..

I also haven't been able to finish a book for a week.. I am no longer interested in what I am reading .. Starting to feel like another slump on the way :( but i am not going to let it take over :D

don't worry about it! College comes first, and the reading shouldn't feel like a chore. We're all here for the fun of reading after all :)

I know but I normally read more then what I have been. I miss reading but I'm loving the book I'm reading at the moment
