I intend to watch the original movie of In Cold Blood that came out in the 60s. Several years ago, I saw the movie Capote with Phillip Seymour Hoffman and I wish I would have read the book first. I think it implied that writing this book destroyed him. I also intend to watch the movie Infamous which came out the following year. It looks like it sensationalizes Capote's relationship with Perry Smith. I also would like to read his biography at some point.
