Sorry, Jayme, this does not work for Not-a-Novel. If it did work for Not-a-Novel, it would not work for 10.5. It appears to be a novel told in vignettes, but traditionally classified as a novel (not a collection of short stories).

You are correct that it is YA. We use the independent resource of Brooklyn Public Library and check to see how they classify/shelve it.
