The Mystery, Crime, and Thriller Group discussion

Hey all! I'm new to the group.

When I started writing five years ago, I didn't know where my passion for writing would take me- whether it would be a hobby forever or become my career. So, I just wrote for the love of writing and didn't worry about the rest. I honestly wasn't sure which genre I wanted to focus on since I have several genres I love to read. I started writing romance then and have built a career out of it, thankfully.

However, I have since decided to cross over into the thriller genre. It's really where my heart is! Anyway, I'm releasing my first thriller (The Rebels) this summer and I feel like I'm completely starting over since all of my contacts (bloggers, author groups, readers etc) are mainly romance fans. I'm close enough to most of them that I feel they'll still support me, no matter what genre I publish, but I'm really hoping to find a few thriller bloggers who I can follow.
