Support for Indie Authors discussion

I put my book on Smashwords March 4, 2016. I listed it for free because my second book is due out at the end of the month. Because it's free, it doesn't show sample downloads. On my dashboard, it says full and sample downloads and then when I click on details, it says downloads and page views. Then there's the 'In user libraries.' When the book is free, is the download's the entire book? Could someone please explain how this works? Thanks!

If you have offered your book free on Smashwords, then yes it will be free, and it will be as much of the work as you put on Smashwords.

Thanks. I've only used Amazon before so Smashwords is new to me. I'm learning. Lol
