Anyone watch Damien off of A&E (Mondays 9 pm central)?

Not really sure about it. Damien still appears to be a passive bystander while everyone fights for/around him. And how did he get to be 30 years old and not realize he's got evil in him? Pretty sure Omen 2 and 3 showed him being more 'involved' in directing the evil unlike the original where all he did was look and entities did stuff.

I honestly didn't even know it existed until I saw someone comment about it on another website. Maybe if it makes it I'll give it a shot.

I'm going to wait on this one. I start too many shows that end up getting cancelled. It's so frustrating!

I watched the first episode. It was ok. I normally give a show at least three episodes before I decide on it. The first episode of a new show is always slow since they have to introduce the characters and what not. I see potential but I could see it getting really campy fast.

The impression I got was this show is using events from the first movie, and possibly the 2nd, but events from The Final Conflict should be ignored. I loved the show myself but the original Omen Trilogy are some of my favorite horror movies of all time, so I'm admittedly biased.

I love the first movie. The second was meh, I don't recall if I saw the third...the remake was awful.

I need to find the original movie (or trilogy if possible) on dvd. All I can find recently is the remake.

I liked the flashbacks in the episode, and also that SCORE, so hoping it will be good. I've been excited about this one for months, big fan of the original movies (hated that remake)

if I can watch online or on an app, i'll give it a try. I didn't know about it til I saw this thread.

I forgot all about this show. I'm so glad someone posted about it, now I have to see if it's on demand.

the first episode is still free^ I really liked it!! did this not get much publicity before airing or what? I don't have cable so just wondering if that's why I hadn't heard of it or not. but I really liked it. gonna spread the word and hopefully send some viewers to it.

I didn't play it all the way through but the 2nd episode did start playing on my computer, i'll try on my tablet later.

I heard about it when either catching up on The Walking Dead or channel scrolling and saw The Omen (original) was on. I was lucky I found it before the first ep. showed.

On the fence about this. I want to like it, but it's been pretty boring in stages so far. A lot of it is really an ask for suspension of disbelief. Look, I get it's about the anti-Christ but still...... Also, not sure I love taking the first film but binning the next two. It doesn't work. This reminds me of Gotham in that it sounds like a good idea but isn't really playing out that way.

I think they've referenced part of 2 (don't remember if I saw 3) where he's getting kicked out of boarding schools. It's been a long time since I saw the movies though. AMC should've marathon'ed all the movies before the show started, not just the original.

I'm not sure if I've seen parts 2 or 3. I like the show so far.

Damien has done poorly ratings wise and was cancelled.

Honestly I won't miss it much. Im not sure what I expected but I couldnt really get glued to it.

I couldn't tell where they were trying to go with it. Good to know I can cancel 1 show off the record list.

I won't miss it either. Viewed several episodes and could not get into it.
