Aliya DalRae | 36 comments Hey Everyone,

I was wondering, how do you get ideas for what to write on your blogs? I've written a couple of entries, but for all the time I spend spinning tales on paper, I for the life of me can't figure out what to write about in a blog. Any suggestions?

Dannye | 8 comments I can relate. I have no trouble with my nonfiction blogs, but the blog that highlights one of my fiction series is tough. I'm busy working on the next book, and I have a hard time figuring out what to post.

Aliya DalRae | 36 comments Should the posts be "book" related, or is it ok to get "personal" sometimes, and say things that happen in day to day life, anecdotes, etc.? It just seems like there is only so much to say about the book without reading it to everyone!

Gayle Martin | 2 comments I do a little of both, especially when the real life stuff is inspiration for books.

Gail Baugniet | 7 comments Over the years my blog site has evolved from strictly mystery-related to: A mix of Mystery and Aloha, Book reviews, Author Interview and Eclectic poetry.

On Sunday, my posts are poetry related. In the first post, I said: Beginning October 18, 2015, and each succeeding Sunday for 70 weeks, my internet blogsite will feature a poem from (my published book of poetry) ANOTHER NEW BEGINNING. A short observation, sometimes informative, other times humorous, will accompany the poem, along with a complementary photograph.

My Goodreads goal is to read 71 books in a wide variety of genres, between October 2015 and 2016. I post short reviews of the books on Friday with the hashtag #FridayReviews (and, of course, add them to my Goodreads bookshelf.)

I post once a month for #IWSG (Google for further information.) And Arlee Bird's annual April A to Z Challenge. The experience helps to get into the rhythm of blogging.

Once you get rolling, you'll wake in the middle of the night to jot down your next blog post!

Iris Blobel (iris-b) | 7 comments I do a little of everything ... Sundays I take part in the Sunday Snippets, got some music on my blog on mondays, Tuesday Tales, and some book features for other authors.

Post what you feel like or what might attract readers to your blog.
