Young Adult Contemporary Romance discussion

I read a book a long time ago that I remember loving and I can't for the life of me remember anything other than the general plot...on the off chance that someone else has read it and knows what the heck I'm talking about, here is what I remember.

The male lead is a cop who has gone undercover has a geeky/awkward journalist. The female lead works with him, has no idea he's a cop, somehow manages to get entangled with his job, and at one point they are hiding out in a cabin or something in the woods. I know this is extremely vague, but if it sounds at all familiar, drop a link and I'll check it out!
