Review Group discussion

This is a special celebratory, genre specific group. In joining this group you have agreed TO REVIEW ANY ALLOCATED BOOK within the set 12 week limit.
Genre: Romance
Romance – Any type from contemporary to paranormal, historical, fantast and scifi. All levels of ‘heat’ and combinations of main protagonists acceptable e.g. m/f, LGBT, menage, ‘clean’ to explicit. The major focus of the book must be on the relationship between the protagonists and there MUST be a Happy Ever After or Happy For Now ending.

Allocation of books to review is entirely random and there will NOT be any rearranging of the listing to accommodate preferences. The ONLY circumstance in which you may duck out of giving a review is if YOU provide a stand-in reviewer.

Let’s be honest here – even within the same genre, we don’t all like the same things but we all want reviews. The only way this group can function is if we trust each other to behave honourably. And it IS perfectly possible to give a fair-minded review of a text that does not coincide with our normal choice of reading matter. If you need a few hints/tips, please see this thread:

Make sure you have an author profile set up before you join and that your book is available for sale on amazon (not pre-0rder).

Please let me know as you sign up if you have been reviewed by, or have reviewed another author in the group. It is permissible to review an author more than once if a different book is available, but reciprocal reviews within the group are strictly prohibited.

You know what? I'll be brave and enter my first ever self-published book into this ring.
I feel sorry for this book; it has very few reviews, and I've not courted them, as I appreciated my writing improved with each book. But this story is still lovely, and deserves some attention (imho)

I've done a review of one of Emma's books before, but not anyone else.

I've got a two way review clash with J D, so I'll keep us apart.

If you pull out after the start date for any reason it is the other members who will be faced with the problem of finding a replacement, or missing out on reviews, through no fault of their own. Postings to any other sites are by agreement by both author and reviewer.

If I’ve missed something that results in you being asked to review someone who has already reviewed you, please let me know asap.

To exchange book files, my advice is to use PM to give email addresses to each other (save the chance of spammers getting your addies from this open forum). Happy reviewing, everyone :)

As I said this is an open forum. Putting your email up is a risk.

Once you have messaged a couple of members within a few minutes, goodreads flags you up as a potential spammer, all you have to do it type those squiggly letters in the box or answer some inane question about how many mountains you can see. Happens to me a lot, as you can probably imagine.

The group lasts 12 weeks. It isn't essential that you get all four books on the first day.

The goodreads links to all the books are in the sign-up message. (that's why I ask for them).
Just click on it and go to your 'home' amazon to see if the book is available in KU.

I only managed to PM two people and this is my very public email, but that's a great idea to check the links. Face palm. Thanks Emma.

Okay, I got everyone's from KU, except Richard's. It appears he only has it in paperback.
