Sean DeLauder (sean_delauder) | 97 comments Here are Dreadknights reviews on Goodreads and Amazon.com.

I'd post a link for the Amazon in the UK review, but it is not currently clickable.

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments Why thank you!
For you information, the series is on the one for one thread, so if you post your next review, I can add you book to the list.

message 56: by L.N. (new)

L.N. Denison | 1004 comments Wonderful, I shall do that then =)

message 57: by Noah (new)

Noah Nichols (nanmanme) May I interject for a moment just to say that every review posted so far has been well-written and highly informative? Mine for The Pages of Time should be up to bat by this weekend!

message 58: by L.N. (new)

L.N. Denison | 1004 comments Since I've joined this group, my review writing skills have improved tenfold. Practice makes perfect..so the saying goes!

message 59: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie R. Sorensen (stephanier_sorensen) | 29 comments Thank you, Tony! Very thoughtful review. I second Noah's comment--the review quality is very high here.

Thank you, kind sir!

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments I'm all up to date with who has reviewed whom. An excellent start to the group, thank you one and all.

message 67: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments Thanks Tony. Rules are that you post to amazon.com and .uk.
The issue of posting low star reviews to amazon has been debated on the group numerous times, and each time, the majority has come down in favour of posting.

The best authors in the world are members of the one star club. I'm proud to say I'm a card carrying member too.

message 68: by Noah (new)

Noah Nichols (nanmanme) Thank you, sir! May I have another?

message 69: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments Ha! Love it!

Now where did I put that riding crop...

message 71: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments Thanks Joe.

message 72: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments End of round one is tomorrow, consider yourself poked with a pointy stick if you haven't posted yet.

'OUCH'
Yep, I'm a culprit too, but I'll post by the end of tomorrow Chrys.
In my defence, starting 11 review rounds at once might have been a just a touch ambitious...

message 73: by Damian (new)

Damian Knight | 19 comments Looks like I'm next in line for the pointy stick. Here are the links to my review of Joe Turk's Making Monsters:

Joe Turk | 26 comments I'm really enjoying this process. Reading SP books is more informative than I would have guessed. And my first received review inspired me to trim a thousand words of confusing dialogue that didn't need to be there. Signed up thinking it'd help with marketing, but I'm going to walk away with an improved book. Wish I'd found this group 2 years ago.

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments Thanks L.N.

message 79: by L.N. (new)

L.N. Denison | 1004 comments What I want to know is, why are Amazon UK so slow to get the reviews up, it's usually US that is the slow one?

message 80: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments The Mighty ZON works in mysterious ways...

Joking aside, I haven't got a clue, L.N. They don't share their reasons with us mere mortals. I posted mine over an hour ago, and I'm in the UK, so location isn't the factor.

message 81: by L.N. (new)

L.N. Denison | 1004 comments I shall try and post later then. I never usually have to wait this long.

message 82: by Damian (new)

Damian Knight | 19 comments How odd?! I posted on Amazon UK yesterday evening and my review went live 5 mins later, as it should. Not sure what's going on here, but I'll be interested to see what happens with the next one I post.

E.G. Manetti (thornraven) | 93 comments Joe wrote: "Looks like Amazon might 'invite' customers to become critical reviewers once they have enough likes on their reviews. So yeah, probably launching a lot of reviews and establishing himself/herself. ..."

*In Response to post 49*

Hi Joe, I'm in review group 100k (the other scifi group). Critical review means 'unfavorable.' If you select 'show all reviews', amazon lists the 'positive reviews on the left' and the 'critical reviews' on the right. Not sure why, it's relatively recent.

message 84: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments I don't get why amazon considers a three star 'critical' it does mean the reviewer thought the book was ok.

message 85: by Joe (new)

Joe Turk | 26 comments E.G. wrote: "Joe wrote: "Looks like Amazon might 'invite' customers to become critical reviewers once they have enough likes on their reviews. So yeah, probably launching a lot of reviews and establishing himse..."

You're absolutely right. Realized that after my second 3 star.

message 89: by Joe (new)

Joe Turk | 26 comments FYI, I just completed a revision on Making Monsters...for those that are assigned my book, I can send you an updated PDF. (About 2k words shorter than the version you have now) The updated kindle version should be live in about 12 hours.

message 95: by Noah (new)

Noah Nichols (nanmanme) It's quite all right, Stephanie. I'm glad you GOT No Net. Your review was right on the money and I'm pleased that it made you feel a lot of...things! That's what I strive for when writing...

Side note, I did not do any of the artwork inside or outside the book. I merely supplied most of the ideas to my artist. His name is James King and if you inspect the cover a bit, you can see the main storefront on the left side says King James Art. He's also credited in the novel at the beginning. Thanks again for your kind words toward my work!

message 96: by Stephanie (last edited Apr 12, 2016 11:23AM) (new)

Stephanie R. Sorensen (stephanier_sorensen) | 29 comments Hey Noah, just got the James King references edited in, so as soon as the approval people on all three sites grind through, that should be up.

Write on, sir!

message 97: by Noah (new)

Noah Nichols (nanmanme) I shall. Two solo works crisping to a golden brown in the oven right now, one co-authored novel finalizing today and the sequel to NN starting up next month! Very busy time, indeed.

message 98: by Emma (new)

Emma Jaye | 3693 comments Thanks Stephanie

message 99: by Josephine (new)

Josephine Boyce | 14 comments Thank you Chrys and I made the changes to the typos you pointed out. I just wish I didn't have Rebellion across 5 platforms!

I really appreciate being told about typos (*ahem* my grammatical mistakes) -- my book was proofed but I had to make a few changes before publication and so any mistakes are mine. My proofreader is incredible if anyone is looking for one.

If you see any typos when reading I'd love to know about them. Thanks!
