Oh thanks Phyrnne, I don't really know anything about it... So I'm excited to get started :)

Oh Well on to the next one.

Sometimes I try to think if I knew the story would be the way it was, would I have read it. Could I think of anyone I know I'd really be happy recommending it to?
I rate books kind of by category. A 5 star sci-fi/fantasy or mystery for me might not be anywhere nearly as good as a 5-star literary fiction, but if I think they rank highly compare to others of that type, then I give them 5 stars.
It's a bit like rating pets: dogs vs horses vs budgies. Or horses, for courses, as the saying goes.
And if you think about it for a while and find it's memorable, that may tell you something, too.

Didn't quite agree with the rating but it was fun.

Me too. Silent Spring, written by marine biologist Rachel Carson is one of the most important books ever written, no question. She single-handedly woke people up to how pesticides move between organisms and can build up to lethal levels. Since then, we've learned more about what we are doing to the natural world.
5★ for a book you should also read. Or read my (very long) review and other reviews - you'll get the idea. :)

That's why I like cruising. Lots of time to read when you don't have to drive your car to get to places.

Fantastic!!!

Well you still have almost a fortnight to read your at least 2 more Margaret, so that should be fine:) Enjoy and have fun!

Not sure I would have got around to this otherwise but it was an interesting read, semiautobiographical and set in Australia in the time between the wars.

Also my third, 25th by date, Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys 4.5★, an excellent YA historical story based on a real WW2 tragedy.

I had to change my #5 as my previous choice is no longer available to me, and I am reading that now.
Taking mine from my Galley book tbr because I already have them all without the need to buy more and this will help with my Galley book challenge also if that's ok?

Yes and I'm enjoying them too! Haha, guess that's why I originally liked them ;)
It feels good to be getting through them as well.

A thoroughly absorbing read. 4★s
