And I'm sure Brenda will announce May's anytime now...!!

Just did Tien:)

Just did Tien:)
Like Tien I have library books and there is no way they are going back unread. I will just have to work less and read more.

That sounds like a good plan Phrynne!

I'm actually disappointed with the upcoming long weekend because that means less reading time. I read mostly on the train :(
Maybe I'll just ignore the kids & let hubby do all the cooking etc ;p

Review for #5. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

*That last one, #5 was a real page turner from start to finish ;)

Totally agree! I loved that one Jools - hopefully she'll have another very soon:)

Indeed it was Sally, I thoroughly enjoyed myself! And am making some good headway into clearing the decks :))

I loved that book too & I believe the title of her new book (coming in July?) is The Twisted Knot

Thanks for the encouragement Brenda, May looks good but I have study to do in the next couple of months so will be reading less fiction :(

Well Ace, whatever you manage to read (other than study!) make sure you enjoy it:)

Thanks, Phrynne!

Just finished my 4th book The 6th Extinction by James Rollins 3.5*

Had hoped to finish all 5 but I'm 4th in the holds queue at my local library for my last book so it will be after the end of April before I get to read it.
Back to the Autumn Challenge!

Starting the next one today The Cellist of Sarajevo by Steven Galloway and will push on in the challenge.

I'm moving on...!

Never mind Bianca sometimes life just gets in the way:) Don't worry about it! Onward and upward :)

It's just annoying, as it was very doable. This former straight-A student doesn't like failing ;-)

I'm with Brenda and Ace on this, Bianca. I know there are all kinds of rankings and ratings and what-not, but really, NOBODY IS KEEPING SCORE! I mean. . . seriously keeping score in a way that should affect your enjoyment of reading.
Sometimes, I'd rather read my New Scientist backlog (I'm always a couple of weeks behind) and let my current book wait patiently for me. Life happens.
Having said all that, I love the challenges because they 'make' me look at different book lists and discover things I'd never had any idea existed. Not unlike New Scientist, come to think of it. :)

I used to read the New Scientist, especially at my previous job. I haven't in the past 2 years.

That's only a short (ish) one so you might even get it finished Valerie! Good luck:)

And you're welcome:) We aim to help and please!

I am halfway through my fifth and last book The Singer. It is so good I won't have any trouble finishing it in time.
