This is the fourth book to the Throne of Glass series. What do you like about this book? Are you excited for the fifth book: Empire of Storms?

I personally enjoyed Queen of Shadows much more than Heir of Fire. I felt that Heir of Fire was pretty slow until the end, but Queen of Shadows completely made up for it. Everything I wanted to happen, happened, and more. This book ended in such a good place and I can't wait for Empire of Storms!

Kyla (ourbookworlds) (ourbookworlds) I love sarah's writing and her story world and everything is perfect! I just hate the way the story's going. I ship Dorian and Arien so hard it's sad and to see those chances getting smaller and smaller makes me want to scream. though I did enjoy heir of fire and queen of shadows I didn't completely devoured them like I did Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight.

I ship Dorian and Aelin too! Not only that but I just love Dorian a lot and I feel he has to deal with so much and everyone always kind of leaves him out. I do like Rowan more than I liked Chaol though, so that makes up for it a little bit. Throne of Glass was definitely my favorite book! I thought it was the most fun to read.

Kyla (ourbookworlds) (ourbookworlds) yes Rowan is better the Chaol in my opinion I was always so confused why people shipped the (Rowan too even though Sarah is obviously going down that road rn) I don't see it. The first two were definitely an amazing ride but I still have faith for the last two.

Lorryn I love Queen of Shadows. I totally ship Rowan and Aelin. They are perfect. I also love Manon and Dorian. I can't wait for the next book. There is so much that happens in this book its intense.

I loved this one and I ship Rowan and Aelin. I'm so glad that Chaol found Nesryn. I liked this one better than Heir of Fire too because it was more fast-paced. I'm going to read Assassin's Blade soon but really I can't wait to see what is going to happen in Empire of Storms. My anticipation for that book has grown ten times more since before I read QofS.

Grace Meredith (koreantrash) The sexual tension between Rowan and Aelin tho. SO FUCKING FRUSTRATING. SJM will be the death of me.

Natália Lopes (silkcaramel) I'm on the first 100 pages or so in this book and it's my least favorite of the 4 I've read so far. Aelin is coming across as a major bitch, and though the pace is faster than Heir of Fire, I miss what made Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight such page-turners and books I totally adored. Chaol, Dorian and Manon are my favorite characters, and it hurts my heart what's happening with Chaol and Dorian. Although I love Sarah's writing, I'm not enjoying the road she's taking with this series and with Aelin - yes, I figured that she would be reclaiming her inheritage and her throne and taking on the King of Andarlan at some point and avenging not only her people and Nehemia but herself and Sam (ahem, Arobynn), but idk, I'm not loving this. I can't stand Rowan and I think their relationship feels to me forced and a poor version of Feysand. I miss my Chaolena and even Dorialena (now Chaelin and Doriaelin?), their relationship and friendship overall where some of the things I loved about the first two books. Anyway, I'll keep reading mainly because of my favorite characters and some interesting new ones that we have (Kaltain is back! AND Nesryn is awesome, so there).
