Heather (hersecretsmile) | 290 comments Heidi, I agree it is quite different from the Kate Daniels series. The pacing especially, but the environment as a whole feels different as well. I've seen several comparisons to the Mercy Thompson series, which I think is more accurate. And I do enjoy the series quite a bit, it's just a struggle to get through the pacing when you have limited time.

Bookbuyer, I'm excited to read it well! I still have to read Vision in Silver first (though I do own it). I am trying to resist until it comes out in paperback.

Sky, I love None of the Above!

Elora, I have heard so many positive things about that book. It's near the top of my to-buy list.

Harlee | 1583 comments I finished The Witch Hunter (The Witch Hunter, #1) by Virginia Boecker and really liked it! I also read The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Gris Grimly . I'm still working on The Vagrant (The Vagrant, #1) by Peter Newman but it's not as interesting as I hoped it would be so I might start something else.

I just starting Signs Point to Yes by Sandy Hall and it is SO cute!

Just had to stop about of a 3rd of the way into "the clan of the cave bear." :( not nearly as fun as I remembered when I read a couple years ago. :( just can't do it now. Maybe I'll try again later. For now, I'm giving "the journal of mortifying moments" by Robyn Harding a go. Hope it's good!

About to finish my reread of City of Heavenly Fire (The Mortal Instruments, #6) by Cassandra Clare so I can finally pick up Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare , and then??? I have so many I need to read next for BotM or PIFM or just cause and I can't decide which should be next.

Booked | 4 comments I'm reading Prodigy (Legend, #2) by Marie Lu and I'm liking it, but I was happy when reading Legend to note that there were no love triangles, and now with the second book it's BAM-- love triangles everywhere!

I love period dramas, and the few historical books I read I have loved, want to read more, heard this author is great. Love her so far.

I started Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare ! I put the audio of Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon on hold and I'm now listening to Morning Star (Red Rising, #3) by Pierce Brown . ;)

Next I'll be picking up Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys , one of my PIFM books!

Now I'm reading Stars Above by Marissa Meyer, and Pathfinder Legends - Mummy's Mask, Chapter 4: Secrets of the Sphinx by Amber Scott.

I loved it the first time around, but it was so much better the second time. She foreshadows well!
I'm currently reading Golden Son (Red Rising, #2) by Pierce Brown and am hoping to get into the meaty part of the book and will intersperse that reading with my reread of The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater
