I love this series! The Twelve was extremely dark but well worth it to get to The City of Mirrors (The Passage, #3) by Justin Cronin .

Awesome! I'm really enjoying it so far (25%). Very dark worldbuilding, but I love the character development, so many unique and well-developed characters in interesting situations. I think I'll read the last book after this one :)

Lauren Stoolfire | 2047 comments Im currently listening to Written in Red (The Others, #1) by Anne Bishop on audio and I think it's going to be a series to obsess over. I'm also reading The Call by Peadar Ó Guilín as it just came in at the library for me and so far it's quite atmospheric and intense. Ive also just started Compulsion (The Heirs of Watson Island, #1) by Martina Boone as a part of a blog tour.

Halfway done with Like a River Glorious (The Gold Seer Trilogy, #2) by Rae Carson and wish I could stay up all night reading this.

This series is bringing up memories of how much I loved the Little House on a Prairie books as a kid!

I really like the Others on audiobook. Not as much as I love Kate Daniels, but it is still a solid series so far.

Yay! Glad you're enjoying it! I really liked the first book. My only gripe with it was how there seemed to be a lot of coincidences throughout. But I loved the whole frontier thing and her "gold" power is a really cool idea, especially given the time period :) Can't wait to read this one too!

Just finished reading The Foxhole Court (All for the Game, #1) by Nora Sakavic , which was very intense and gripping!
About to start A Torch Against the Night (An Ember in the Ashes, #2) by Sabaa Tahir . I remember loving the first one but it's been so long that I'm worried I've forgotten everything.

Hi Daniel!! I did a reread of AEITA by audio to make sure I'd remember! :) Now I need to read ATATN before I forget it all. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

I bought a few of Anne McCaffrey's books this week that were being offered on sale on Kindle and got sucked back into the world of Crystal Singer (Crystal Singer, #1) by Anne McCaffrey . Now I'm binging the series (AGAIN) and about to start Killashandra (Crystal Singer #2) by Anne McCaffrey which is good because I needed a K for the A - Z challenge. ;)

Love me some Anne McCaffrey!!

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) Hi Daniel *waves back*

I'm worried about the same thing. I want to dive in and read A Torch Against the Night (An Ember in the Ashes, #2) by Sabaa Tahir but it's been so long, I feel like I should reread An Ember in the Ashes (An Ember in the Ashes, #1) by Sabaa Tahir first. Right now I'm reading Saven Deception (Saven #1) by Siobhan Davis and loving it!!!

Pro tip- reread AEITA. They keep referencing things that happened that I can't remember.
I love the book though besides that. I'm already in love with all the characters! Her writing is so brilliant.

I finished the audio of The Dispatcher by John Scalzi which i think was written specifically by John Scalzi for audible. Really cool concept! Spock narrates. It's still free on audible.com!

And I started The Fever Code (The Maze Runner, #5) by James Dashner late last night.

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) I finished Saven Deception (Saven #1) by Siobhan Davis and really loved it! Now I'm reading the novella The Logan Collection (Saven #1.5) by Siobhan Davis and then book 2 Saven Disclosure (Saven #2) by Siobhan Davis

I'm still reading The Fever Code (The Maze Runner, #5) by James Dashner and started The Girl With All the Gifts by M.R. Carey on audio.

I was getting a weird sense of deja vu when I started listening to TGWATG yesterday, so finally figured it out when I realized I'd watched a movie trailer a few months ago. Looks like a good movie! http://search.aol.com/aol/video?q=the...

I had mixed feelings about EoS. There were moments that were great, but I felt that there were a lot of lulls in the narrative. I found myself skipping a lot of chapters or sections because I was bored.
