David Estes Fans and YA Book Lovers Unite! discussion

Reading this right now: SPARE CHANGE This is a good book, can hardly put it down..Very character developed, involving a little boy in an abusive home and two women. Haven't found out how they come together yet but I assume they all will.

Finished The Girl on the Train. I thought it was pretty good, there were some flaws but it wasn't awful. Started The Name of the Star by Johnson, but Gemina is ready at the library so I'll be switching to that one.

Awesome! That was one of the two I was excited about seeing on the list for December, and one I'm looking forward to grabbing a copy of and reading.

I bought and a signed copy of this afternoon. That was it for my Black Friday shopping. :)

I won a Barnes and Noble gift card from work so I bought two books and a toy for my niece from there and I ordered the illustrated Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone from Book Outlet! I got it for $15!!! And those were all of my bookish Black Friday purchases haha

Also about to finish . And started in the wee hours this morning. Had a bad case of insomnia. Finally fell asleep at 6AM. Yikes!

Finally finished the Lunar Chronicles. Winter was really good. The best one in the series! I'm not even a fan of the books!

Hi guys! I'm in a bad reading slump. I really miss being lost between the pages of a book so to help me, I've been rereading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. What book would you recommend for me to read? I love YA Fantasy and Sci-fi. There are so many good new releases and it's a bit overwhelming for me to choose one. Thanks and looking forward to your recos!

I started reading Okay for Now (early, I know. I'm in the middle of American Gods and it's crazy dark...I needed a break!)
I'm really liking OFN so far. It's something that I never would have picked up on my own, but it's quite unique.

Besides Illuminae, I would also suggest The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid! It was a fantastic Sci-fi!!!

I'm currently reading Endsinger by Jay Kristoff. It's fan-freaking-tastic!

I started Project Cain but I'm not really liking how it's written so I might try something else. Not sure if I want a reread or something new!

I am reading FEAR THE DEAD 4 after finally finishing which was so good. I am reading slowly, only at night and I fall asleep so my reading has slowed down considerably.
