I finished Stars Above by Marissa Meyer which I loved! Def worth reading if you love the world and characters! Also finished The Girl of Fire and Thorns Stories (Fire and Thorns, #0.5-0.7) by Rae Carson which I also recommend if you're a fan of the world--really amazing backstory to a few key characters, and a big secret about where Prince Rosario comes from.

Also finished The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien which I LOVED, such a fun story! Now I get to watch the movies :)

Also finished my reread of Through the Zombie Glass (White Rabbit Chronicles, #2) by Gena Showalter which was a fun reread!

Right now I'm reading Three (Article 5, #3) by Kristen Simmons and actually almost done with it--I started it today, and can't put it down! This story is so relevant right now, with what's going on right now in Mississippi and North Carolina. Losing your civil rights is a BIG deal! And like what's going on now, in this story it starts as a religious movement. Scary stuff.

Next I'm reading Half Way Home by Hugh Howey and Fall of Night (Dead of Night, #2) by Jonathan Maberry

Stars Above was a great collection of stories, and The Hobbit is one of my favourite books! The Hobbit movies are pretty good too.

Just finished Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon last night... Finally. Took me over a year. I DNF'd it two or three times, and then months later would pick it back up and continue on. Glad I got to the end. I liked it enough by the end that I ordered Dragonfly in Amber (Outlander, #2) by Diana Gabaldon . :-D

Hi guys, I'm back (again) if you remember me. School got crazy in the spring and I had to put reading aside for a bit (other than my school books) but in the past month I've read Room by Emma Donoghue , A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce , and currently working on The Stranger by Albert Camus for French class. I haven't done any pleasure reading in a while... Thinking of starting I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson soon, since I got it from the library. Has anyone read it?

I agree! I tend to have to reread a series when the last book finally comes out (such as The Raven Cycle) or I'll reread my absolute favorites. :)

message 184: by Storm (new)

Storm Arashi (stormarashi) | 1130 comments I'm reading The Glittering Court.... This is my first time reading anything by Mead so I'm hoping it goes well.... I'm giving it a few chapters before it goes back to the store.

message 185: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi Daniel.
Stupid life getting in the way of reading.

@Storm, youre first mead book? You havent read va? or BL? :O :O The horror.. Storm storm storm, you should read va+fb+sk and then move on to glittering court(heard mixed about glittering, but marathoning the first 3 va books will give you a book gasm).

message 186: by Nancy (new)

Nancy (paper_addict) I am rereading The Twelve.

Jenn Sternshein (bookdorkjenn) | 30 comments Aliza wrote: "honestly I find it hard to re-read because I always feel like there are so many amazing books I haven't read yet."

I feel the same way... there are some books I want to reread but then there are so many I want to read after hearing something about. I have a serious problem with starting too many books at once. I have 21 I'm currently reading, 12 I'm actively reading. I probably need to stay off gr for a while cuz all it takes is some people talking about their love for a book and I just HAVE to get it... lol I guess it's a good addiction. :) I just love hearing everyone's opinions

Oh I plan on correcting it, I've been on a long break from vampire books for awhile (blame House of Night for that slump) so I do plan to read VA. I actually have the first book on my shelf but this one jumped out to me. ^^ So I'm looking forward to it.

Lanie (Sherwood1192yahoocom) | 81 comments Ugh, just tried and failed to read "cinder" and "divergent" :( I couldn't even get to a hundred pages in either one. Thought they were WAY boring. To make up for the disappointment, I'm now rereading a favorite. "the dragonet prophecy" by Tui T. Sutherland. :D
