I really wanna read this one, so I'll do the same, since I'm just finishing off a book ...

39%~ So far I'm enjoying this book more than the first book. I like that it didn't leap right into the sex. It's letting the chemistry simmer a bit.

ok - so, yes! I really liked the first half - the chemistry between them is definitely there ... I like it MUCH better than the first book ! I think that - even though I am anticipating their sex for what seems like forever - it's great that they didn't dive right into it ... it just makes it more realistic and it gives us more of a buildup ... I hope it doesn't disappoint once it happens...

Also, I didn't expect her to be THAT traumatized, poor girl what she went through... Initially I thought it was some asshole boyfriend who maybe hit her once or twice ... but it turned out she is dealing with a psycho! I didn't see that coming ... And now he's getting out of jail ?! Interesting... I wonder how he will attack her again (because I'm sure he will!!) ....

Ok so the first sex was disappointing to me ... To me it wasn't very hot - I felt bad for him, having to hold back the whole time so that she wouldn't freak out .. I felt even worse for her - thinking she will flip out any moment.,, Thankfully, she didn't until a bit later .... but - it was a bit awkward for me ... Mostly because he had to think through every single move!

Yea the sex was a little awkward. I was doing exactly the same thing you did. I couldn't sit back and just enjoy it. I was just cringing waiting for her to start to freak out. It kind of ruined the moment for me. I'm glad she is finally seeking help. She has PTSD written all over her.

Finished! It ended on a sweet note. The whole Richard thing was a little anti-climactic. They built that up only to just end so quickly you barely had time to process it.

I liked it more than book 1 but that is probably only because I really liked Gabriel. All my 3 stars are for him.
