Tracey (trakka) | 1363 comments Oh if you can I highly recommend it in audio. My narrator was Noah Taylor - I know they can be different in the UK!

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) | 2447 comments True! In Canada we can get US or UK. I checked and the one I have on hold does have Noah Taylor. It is a group read for my historical group...you are welcome to join the discussion if you wish.

Lol, I know right! It still freaks me out when I see my boss out of the office. Since I started working some shifts in the children's section I have been taking out more kids books. Talk about vibrant and shiny covers;)

I really liked Miller's Valley! It is probably my third favourite of her books. It is a simple story but so engaging. I loved the way she wrote the characters - whether you liked them or not you still feel invested - if that makes any sens.

You are most welcome!

I was out of the loop when I left my job at the book store and I am just getting back into what's happening. A lot of my pickings are just by covers as they come into the check-in area or what is on display in the children's.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 1631 comments I'd love to work in a bookstore! Of course, all my paycheck would probably go right back into buying more books. My dream job would be to own my own little bookstore in one of those quaint, old buildings you typically find in downtown America and live in the apartment space above the store. Alas, the market for independent bookstores is a dying thing, I'm afraid. So I'm just a social worker instead, lol.
