John Seymour 8. Is the ending satisfying? If so, why? If not, why not...and how would you change it?

Anna Fennell | 107 comments You are left wondering if the diamond is really in Hester Hedge's grave. Does the main character go back and unearth it? These are questions that are not answered.

For me yes it was satisfying and tied everything together nicely

Eadie Burke (eadieburke) I would have been satisfied if Beigh was able to actually access the diamond.

Tracy (tstan) | 559 comments I thought this was ended nicely. I got the impression the man who hired Beigh to find the diamond was shady, so for me, it ended well.

Lynn L | 152 comments It ended well. The diamonds whereabouts is unresolved but for me that was not an issue of concern.

Diane | 2044 comments Yes and no. There are unanswered questions, but I think the ending was still done well overall.
