The History
Basic History: Out of an Texas ranch. Dallas was trained to find a good home. When Kotopa stables found him online they needed to have someone to go out and look at him. So they sent two workers down to Texas and bought him on the spot. Dallas is a hard working and a loved horse throughout the stables.

Personality: Charlie is a very particular horse, she needs to have a strong rider with a good leg. It takes a lot to get her to move, she's not lazy, she's stubborn like all mares. She's a very strong horse that needs an experienced rider. She's a brat on her back but she's the sweetest thing on four legs in her stall or pasture. She is gurthy, meaning she will try and bite you and pin her ears back if you tighten the saddle. If you don't ride her like she wants, she will bolt and take off with you on her back. She has never bucked anyone off her though. The only thing she does is bolt; and when she does its hard to gather her up or get her to stop.

The History
Basic History: Charlie was a horse that belonged to a young boarder. Once she realized she was hard to ride she wanted to get rid of her. Kotopa stables loved this young filly and wanted to train her and use her as a lesson horse so they told the young girl they would buy her.

Personality: Biscuit is a well behaved horse. Although he's not for all riders he is for most riders. He does have a tendency to throw his head when you ride him, and some people get caught off guard and end up falling off. He does have some pep to his step, he is a fast horse but listens well to commands. With his long thin body Biscuit has long strides and loves to jump. And after a good workout he's always going to be rubbing his head on you and nipping at your pocket for treats.

Personality: Daisy is a loving mare that loves attention, being brushed, bathed, and rode. Daisy is known for her slow poke behavior and laziness. Its hard to get her going, witch makes her the perfect beginners horse. You can bounce around on her and she wont mind. She is mainly used for beginners but sometimes advanced riders ride her to try and exercise her and get her going.

Basic History: Daisy was born at the stables, her mother was a great jumper and her father was too. unfortunately; Daisy never excelled in jumping. So they decided to train her to be a lesson horse and she loves it.

The Personality
Personality: Chip is not a horse for beginners. If you don't ride him right he will let you know and might end up throwing you off his back. Many students have ended up in the hospital because of Chip, they're still using him as a lesson horse because students need to learn to listen to their instructors and their horse. Chip sure is a chip off the old block. When someone knows what their doing and how to ride him he's a sweet heart and moves and listens nicely. His gates are very nice and smooth to ride too.
Caution: needs experienced riders.

Basic History: Chip was a rescue horse the Kotopa rescued from a awful situation. He was all skin and bones when they first got him, and malnourished. Kotopa stabled fixed him up and started working with him and he's now used for a lesson horse for the experienced riders.

Personality: Rusty is a sweet gal that just loves to run around barrels and anything western things. Enter her in a Gymkhana and she will be sure to bring you home a blue ribbon. She loves the outdoors and going on trail rides with her is the best, she will go through water, rocks, mud, forest, you name it and she will do. Trail riding his Rusty's happy place, when your on her back while trail riding you can tell she's having just as much fun as you are.
Caution: she gets a little antsy and doesn't like to stay still for a long period of time. even in a complete stop she will walk in place. That being said she is more of a horse for medium to advanced riders.

Basic History: Rusty came from an Oklahoma ranch and was used for cattle driving. Rusty belonged to their daughter; and when she went away for college they thought it would be best to give her away to a good home. Her father; knowing the manager at Kotopa, decided her best bet would be there.

Personality: Picasso Is a loving well trained horse for his age. He his a gentle giant. Although he would allow a beginner to ride him, the manager suggest a more experienced rider to ride him because of his height and his age. Even though he is trained, he is still green and a little young. Like any horse, he does have his moments when he gets spooked from something. He loves eventing, and jumping; he could do it all day if he wanted too.

Basic History: Picasso was a horse that was originally bought for a student here at kotopa stables. The student uses him frequently as well as some other students.

Personality: Jack is a stubborn horse. He gets frustrated with his riders very easy and does not enjoy being worked with every day. He LOVES days off and prefers to be in the pasture sun bathing then being rode. He pulls at the reigns a lot, giving a lot of his students blisters from riding him. He has smooth gates to ride too and when he's not in a sour mood he is a blast to ride. He holds himself pretty nicely and bends good too.

Basic History: Jack was a horse that was brought here from a boarder a long time ago. When that boarder decided she didn't like riding anymore she left, leaving jack at Kotopa stables. The stables tried to contact his owner but no luck. With an empty stall and the big heart that Kotopa has, they decided to keep him.

Personality: Coolwhip is a very sweet, happy loving pony that everyone loves to be around. She is the number one ' go to ' horse for most beginner riders. She is very friendly around people and loves to have someone to cuddle. She is a very careful horse when she has a rider on her back, since she knows when she does reining beginners, they always have trouble staying on since its very tough. She is a great horse for trail riding and beginner western riders. Coolwhip is also a good horse to use for advanced riders too, she knows when she has a beginner on her back, opposed to an advanced rider.

Basic History: Coolwhip is from a ranch in Virginia called Willows Creek. The ranch got evicted from the state, due to financial problems. Coolwhip was the only horse that got placed in Kotopa stables.

Personality: Red was born on this world to jump, he loves jumping. his stamina is incredible he can go on for hours jumping and galloping around with someone on his back. Red loves to be rode and he's a bit of a goofball and loves to show off to new mares. He's the loudest horse at the barn. You can hear him calling to all his friends from his pasture to the barn. He's a good horse for medium to advanced riders. He is a horse and he does have a little ADD so you do need to remind him that he needs to bend or change his lead. He's also known as the barn stud.

Basic History: Red was from a barn out in North Carolina. He was bought online by the kotopa stables manager to be used as a lesson horse. He did need a little of training before he could be used as a lesson horse. But not long after his training he got into it. He just needed a little reminding on how to do things. Red is currently loving what he does.

Personality: A calm horse that is good for beginners. Truman doesn't like going full speed and is good at jumping hurdles. He is pretty laid-back, but if you get too close without him knowing you, Truman isn't afraid to kick. He is very sensitive and needs someone who will treat him kindly.
Caution: Doesn't like strangers getting too close.

Basic History: Truman was rescued from a cruel man who enjoyed beating his horses, and taken to the Kotopa Stables when he was seven. He is still rather sensitive because of his previous owner, but is a rather calm horse who enjoys the Stables. There isn't much else to say, as Truman otherwise has had a pretty normal life.

She is not by any means lazy -- she is actually a horse that could go for hours if needed -- she just has a preferred pace. The only time someone should worry when on her back is if they're out in a storm as this can lead the mare to spook.

Basic History: Button was the beloved mare of a young boarder at Kotopa about seven years ago. Unfortunately, she had ran into financial troubles and was looking to move. Unable to take Button with her, she asked Kotopa if they'd be willing to adopt her. Needless to say, they took the easy-going mare in and she has been a beloved asset at the stable.
