The name is written this way (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...), without the period, I would fiz it acording GR rules when I saw a librarian note saying that the period must not be added because his name is written this way.

So, I guess the librarian manual is higher in hierarchy than this librarian note or I'm wrong about this case?
