Martijn Heemskerk (zampano77) | 80 comments I'm in doubt about the subtitle of this novel: "a novel in three parts". According to the librarian manual the phrase "a novel" or "a {something} novel" is not considered a subtitle. I suppose this one is in the same ballpark and should be removed. Agree?

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind. Should it be removed from the entry field "original title" too? Or is the rule at hand: title on cover in entry field "title" and title on title page in entry field "original title"?

That is what I do (if there is no earlier edition, or a translated title), but I don't think it's an official rule.
