Lindsey (ucdlindsey) Has anyone started reading this one? I read this one (and the rest of the series) last year. The first 3 or 4 in this series were some of my favorites. I really liked the mystery/police procedural parts of this, and demon summoning is something I haven't seen as much in the UF I've read, so it was nice to see something different.

I read this one a while ago and I want too impressed, but I'm thinking I should give it another try.

Amyiw | 175 comments I really liked the first 3 but was ready to go to something else and haven't got back to it. I keep meaning too as it really was a favorite. My husband actually started reading them and read right through the whole series. I tried to get to the 4th but things just kept getting in the way.

I thought the demon summoning and the levels of demons was a great twist on the UF scene. Which did you stop at 3 or 4. If you are on 4 maybe we can do a buddy read and it'll get me back to the series.

I'm actually up to date on the series, so I think that's 7 books? It's just that after the first 3 or 4 they kind of lost the cop aspect, and were more fantasy than UF, so I didn't enjoy them quite as much.
