Jen | 48 comments Hi guys I'm looking for some contemporary romance books where the Heroine is not human (she can be anything, except for androids/robot), and a Hero that is human (but still pretty strong).

Thanks in advance!

Brittany | 312 comments Yvette's Haven by Tina Folsom fits what you're looking for. Yvette is a vampire and Haven is a human vampire hunter (though he has some supernatural ancestry) and his human status may or may not change. Anyway, anything by Tina Folsom is pretty awesome. Yvette's Haven is the third book in her Scanguards series. It can be read alone, but it does reference the couples from the first two books as well as other secondary characters.

Jenna | 581 comments Probably not quite what you are looking for but I'll mention it anyway: in Bujold'sFalling Free heroine is a modified-human and hero is an engineer

A Quick Bite (Argeneau #1) by Lynsay Sands A Quick Bite
(view spoiler) - in this one we doesn't find outright that the heroine isn't actually human so it may be considered spoiler(ish):)

Merrilee (jrsygrl626) | 189 comments It's YA so I'm not sure if you'd be interested. Cinder features a cyborg and a human in a love story, but it takes 4 books to come to a real conclusion. It's also a Cinderella retelling.
