Are you also interested in fiction involving them? Or specifically about them? As Angelfall has had some great reviews, and it's waiting on my shelf. :)

I've read one book series with angels and one with demons (I'm sure I've read more but that's all i can recall right now) and they were Angels' Blood and Armageddon Bound. These are both fiction books, the angel book has some pretty heavy romance while the demon one does not.

I'd go with Gaiman for fiction, Murder Mystery, Sandman and Good Omens are all interesting takes on Angels and Demons

Dresden Files deals with Angels, but you have to wait until book 3-4.

I liked Agents of Light and Darkness. Not sure it is what your looking for but shows that both sides are just as bad as the other.

Larissa Ione Demonica and lords of deliverance series are really good if you want to read about angels and demons. And Nalini Singh guild hunter series :)
