Cozy Mystery Corner discussion

Hi an i hope you can help. Its a series of books, I've read a few. One I remember is she works in a historical house and gave tours. Another book I remember where the mayor was murdered. Another one had something to do with a family tree. I think "Rae" was part of her name. Please help! Thanks.

Patricia Sprinkle has a series, Death on the Family Tree.

Julie Hyzy has a series, Manor House mysteries, where the MC is curator of a historical home.

I looked at both of those and it's neither. Rae was part of the authors name. I can't remember if it's her middle name or if her last name is McRae

Those are the only mystery authors with the last name McRae.

Rae Davies has a mystery series with an antiques dealer.

Thank you all for your help. It's driving me nuts! I read 4 or 5 of her books and there were 8 or 9 of them.

This does not have the name "Rae" as part of the author's name, but the Ellen Elizabeth Hunter writes the Magnolia Mystery series (aka Wilmington, NC, mystery series). The main character is a historic preservationist. She often conducts tours in historic houses. The first book there is a candlelight tour in a historic house. There are 10 books. I've read about half of them. Very nice cozies.
