I'm both a reader and an author (often the case, I know) and my singularity is that I'm beninese and french, as well as a french native speaker. My reading are both french and english, when my writing is only in french.
Well that might change soon as I'm translating one of my books (a fantasy one) in english. It's a long process, an interesting one too. The series include four books, two being already out in french, the third one coming out this year (september i think) and the last one being currently under writing.
That is actually why I'm asking for your help : I need to get my first english readers and I don't really know how to proceed.
I've launched a crowdfunding project to finance the translation and even there, I only have french followers so it's hard to talk to english readers about it.
Well, any advice to reach my first english readers would be great. Thank you very much !
PS. I have a blog that could help authors here to get known, however I have to specify it's in french and my readers are french too, so if your book is only in english, I'm not sure I can help, but I'm posting this because there might be some french writers here who would be interested ? Anyways, I can help too, here is my point :) I might open an english blog in a year or two but not right now.
