Hey guys! :D

Sorry but I don't think I'll be able to do any buddy reads with you guys, unless you can join in on ones I've already got planned. I'm basically booked all month, and majority of them are over 450 pages, so I'll have a few 4 pointers :) If anyone wants the list of my buddy reads, just let me know :)

Maddison when are you reading Uprooted? I might join you on that! Amy I saw City of Ashes was on your TBR. Do you maybe want to do a buddy read of that? Also hey Brandi, Ashwag & Evaguel welcome to the chat! If you guys want to BR The Crown as well I'm so excited for it to come out!

There is a buddy read for City of Ashes on the 1st but I need to reread City of Bones first and I don't think I'll have time this weekend. If you would prefer to read City of Ashes towards the end of May that would be good for me? or if you don't want to wait here is the current buddy read - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... I'll gladly wait for you! I've got a couple of books to tackle towards the beginning of the month anyway, so later in the month would be best for me too.

I don't need to do a reread for City of Bones because I just reread it last month but I'm ready for City of Ashes :D

How is everyone's reading going? :) I've had to focus on work this weekend which sucks but I should have a review or two done soon. I am half way through but I read most of that in April, should still get a point for that though.

Ooh thank you Maddison!! I'm going to join that read hopefully because I've been wanting to read Uprooted for a while.

My day has been alright so far. I've been sick for the past week or so, so I've been pretty out of it in terms of reading but I just started All the Bright Places today and I'm hoping to finish it tonight or tomorrow depending on how much reading I can get in tonight.

@Isra, I've read All the Bright Places! I hope you like it so far, I thought it was a good read but I had a few problems with it as it is quite thought provoking. :)

@Amy I'm honestly really enjoying it so far but I agree with you that it is very thought provoking. On the one hand I don't want to put it down and on the other hand I want to constantly stop reading to keep thinking about how it's making me feel.

I don't believe I'll get all those books read that I said I would, because I'm just so busy with school work at the moment. I probably definitely won't have all of those brs completed, may not even get to Uprooted :/

@Amy thank you! I've been busy with work and hadn't had the time. I am plowing through winter right now. It's such a long book! 800+ pages :O

@Maddison That's okay! Life always comes first! Do what you can and enjoy what you read. Don't try and force it (:

How's everyone's week going so far? It's really gloomy here which I guess is nice for staying in and reading but not so much for the massive pile of life work that's on my to do list. D: Hope everyone's doing well!

Also has anyone heard from Brandi or Octavia by chance?

Nope I haven't, but I plan to have The Red Pyramid (510 pages I think) done in a few days at the max. All of my books this month are quite big, and I don't have anywhere near enough time this month to read.

@Isra: We could've read The Selection Stories together. I've got it from the library at the moment, even though I've already read The Prince.

@Maddison lets do it! I'm just starting the queen actually so we can still read half of them together!

@Isra: I only have the first two from the library. The Prince and The Guard. I'm reading the rest of the series in order, so The Guard after The Elite, and then The One and The Heir and Happily Ever After and then The Crown, assuming that's the order :p And I don't have time, like I said earlier :p Maybe we could plan for next month? I'm also reading them with someone else but I'm not sure what she wants to do.

@Maddison Ooh okay. I actually just finished The Prince and The Guard today and I've finished up all of the books except for The Crown, which I believe Amy and Evaguel and I are reading on the 15th.

@Isra: Yeah, I saw on the Review thread, that's why I said we could've read them together haha. I just wish I had more time. There's never enough time for the amount of books I want to read.

@Maddison I understand that. I have a stack of books taller than me that I want to read and no time to get near them because more just keep showing up. That and work is too crazy to make time for reading.

@Isra: Yeah I get that. I'm just really busy with uni at the moment.
