A sci-fi adventure/mystery by Scott Coon
Available Everywhere.

Stuck on an asteroid mining facility, DJ dreams of writing music. But when his dad goes missing, DJ finds a file containing evidence of a secret war of industrial sabotage, a file encrypted by his dad using DJ's song Lost Helix. Caught in a crossfire of lies, DJ must find his father and the mother he never knew.

"Black Mountain had done that. A faceless entity, imaginary but powerful—it was no one and everyone. It had ripped through his life quickly and thoroughly. The company forced DJ to run without any thought of direction other than away. And there was no going back."

Scott Coon is an award-winning short story writer and former U.S. Army Intelligence Analyst. He served for six years, including a tour in Kuwait where he received the Joint Service Achievement Award. Now a software developer for a major bank, Scott brings his computer and military experience into his work, along with a sense of spectacle. See his website for links to his published shorts and his papers on the art and business of writing, as well as his debut novel, LOST HELIX.

Westward Lies The Sun which is about a Japanese American attorney's search for an understanding of God in his life after moldering away in the concentration camps is also listed. It is a search that is well nigh impossible for a humanist to begin with.

Michael Scharen | 147 comments Hello Everyone!

I am a new author of anarcho-sci-fi novels. My website is michaelsbookcorner.com.
I originally started to build a WordPress website as I thought it would be fun to include a blog. WP organizes and stores the articles in a database but I found WP tedious, with conflicting plug-ins and too confining. I went back to what I knew or was easier for me to learn and started over.

For my blog, I use goodreads.com then on my blog page I just post an article I like. My blog archive is just a set of hyperlinks to articles stored by goodreads which I have open in a new tab next to my blog page tab in the browser. Maybe others could take advantage of this trick.

I also try to use my goodreads profile page to the fullest advantage with book trailer posts, blog, groups, quotes, etc. 😀

I would like to know what tips others may have.

Cheers!

Michael J Scharen

Hello Jane,

I began a group called Authors' Review Exchange where authors exchange works to read and review on goodreads.com (not Amazon). We would love to have you join. The rules are pretty simple and you will see them when you enter. Go to my page then scroll down to my groups and click the group name.

Take care,

Michael

Sandeep Jayaram (sandeepjayaram) | 65 comments Hi.

Approximately 9 months back, my debut novel, A Ladder Of Panties was #2 in Movers & Shakers on Amazon's Kindle store. Since then, it has received 4 Kindle Book Deals. A Ladder Of Panties is a Mumbai-based satire and is rated 4.5. An aside: nothing could be further from misogyny or explicit content.
