Anyone else got any BRs set up?

I have a buddy read starting tomorrow for The Goldfinch, and since it is a very long book it will take a lot of time to finish.
I also have three more buddy reads for May: for Meladiction series, for Thief of Lies and for Unspoken.

I have to read Goldfinch this month too for my book club, but I haven't ordered it yet. Maybe I can join you.

It's May for me now, so I'll be starting my first book, Simon and the Homo Sapien Agenda, hopefully tonight :) It might end up being a buddy read, but the person hasn't confirmed yet

I'm hoping to finish City of Bones tonight, I got up to page 222 yesterday, there are 442 pages in total I believe, so am I right in thinking I will be able to claim 220 pages towards this challenge when I finish?

Finished my buddy read for yesterday. I still need to write my review. It was mysterious, with unexpected surprises... but it didn't blow me out of the water. I am looking for books to blow me out of the water right now... :D

lol! I don't think I've ever read one book at a time, Kimberley! Last month I found myself involved in 5 buddy reads simultaneously... I finished them all though! Yay!

ha ha ha! Multi-tasking is my middle name... I guess it depends on the book, though. I get bored easily and want to read something exciting...

@TJ I am not sure if buddy reads count for books that we started before this month.
I have two at the moment from April but I am not sure if buddy reads will count.

Btw, sorry for.not posting you the thread for The Goldfinch. I am on my phone, but will post it today here so you can read it with us if you want, even though the thread is pretty dead for now.

Okay. I just checked. We can get credit for the pages read this month (even if we started the book in previous months), but we can't get buddy read credit if we participated in the buddy read in a previous month. But still, at least that's something... And if you joined me in a buddy read, you could still get buddy read credit because you started and finished the buddy read in May.

I finished the buddy read for , but still need to write my review.

I started an unplanned buddy read for and am 30% in. But I'm starting a planned buddy read for today, and am still reading (60%) in. So much for my good intentions in planning to read one book after another this month.

This book is on my read-to-review list and it sounds great. If you want to set up a buddy read, Irena, I could join after the 24th. If you want to start earlier, we could set up a buddy read for earlier, but I won't be able to jump in until around the 24th.
